SOLEYADOM is a French home care and personal assistance company founded in the Yvelines region near Paris by Sherley Emmanuel Holland, a healthcare and social care professional with more than 25 years of experience.
Our mission is to support older adults, people living with disabilities, individuals recovering from illness, and their families, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life at home.
Throughout her career, our founder witnessed a reality that often goes unnoticed: the greatest challenge is not always illness or loss of autonomy, but loneliness. This observation inspired the creation of SOLEYADOM.
Beyond home care services, we work every day to preserve human connection. We also organize community and intergenerational events designed to reduce social isolation and encourage meaningful relationships.
Our presence at the World Rum Festival reflects these same values. Rum is much more than a spirit; it represents history, culture, traditions, craftsmanship, and the transmission of knowledge from one generation to another.
At SOLEYADOM, we also believe in the importance of transmission. Every person we support carries a unique story, valuable memories, and life experiences that deserve to be recognized and shared.
For our founder, who is originally from Haiti, participating in this event has a special meaning. Haiti is a country rich in culture, resilience, generosity, and community spirit—values that inspire our work every day.
Through our participation, we wish to highlight a simple message: the greatest wealth of any society lies in its human connections.
